Tackling Acne With Sebamed
Getting rid of acne is something I have suffered with for years. I used to be on Roaccutane which was really harsh medication and have pretty much tried every shop brought acne treatment on the market! I still get bad acne at 26; and recently have been getting it badly across my chin and neck which is far from ideal!
Sebamed's range of products have been designed for sensitive skin types and I was sent some products to try out to see if they calmed down my acne at all!
1. Anti-Pimple Gel
Sebamed Clear Face Anti-Pimple Gel inhibits the growth of acne causing bacteria and its moisturising agents protect against flaky patches once pimples, spots and blackheads have dried out. With the same pH 5.5 value as healthy skin, Sebamed Clear Face Anti-Pimple Gel supports and protects the natural barrier function of the skin’s acid mantle.
2. Care Gel
Sebamed Clear Face Care Gel supports the healing of acne and increases the moisture binding capacity of the skin. Irritated, rough scaly skin is soothed and its pH 5.5 value of healthy skin supports and protects the natural barrier function of the skin’s acid mantle. Well suited for all types of acne prone skin and oily skin.
3. Facial Toner
Sebamed Clear Face Facial Toner removes excess oil, sebum and dirt particles from the skin, whilst moisturising it to protect the skin from dehydration. For use on wet or dry skin, it tones and refreshes with its pH 5.5 value of healthy skin, supporting and protecting the natural barrier function of the skin’s acid mantle.
So I've tried these products for roughly a month now and I have to say my face has calmed down slightly since I first started using them. I do still have acne but I have found my neck pimples look less angry! I really love the facial toner - I feel like even after cleansing it gets even more dirt off my face!
Head to Sebamed to try them yourself, or pop down to your local superdrug and pick them up!
With Love,
Leanne xx
